English Heritage: English Heritage exists to help people understand, value, care for and enjoy England’s unique heritage. We are probably best known for looking after the National Heritage Collection of historic sites and monuments and the guardianship of over 500,000 objects and 12 million photographs in our public archives.
CADW: Cadw is the Welsh Government’s historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales.
ICOMOS: ICOMOS is a non-governmental international organisation dedicated to the conservation of the world’s monuments and sites.
ICCROM: ICCROM is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) dedicated to the conservation of cultural heritage. It exists to serve the international community as represented by its Member States, which currently number 132.
UK National Commission for UNESCO: The focal point in the UK for UNESCO-related policies and activities. The Commission is an independent civil society organisation which supports UNESCO’s work in the building of peace, the eradication of poverty, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, the sciences, culture, and communication.
Trafficking Culture: Trafficking Culture aims to produce an evidence-based picture of the contemporary global trade in looted cultural objects. This research programme is based at the University of Glasgow and is funded by the European Research Council.
The Art Loss Register: an organisation founded to raise global awareness of art theft and work to counter it.
Association of National Committee of the Blue Shield: The Association of National Committees of the Blue Shield was founded in 2008 with the purpose of coordinating and strengthening international efforts to protect cultural property at risk of destruction during armed conflicts or natural disasters. ANCBS serves as the communication centre, archive and resource base for the ICBS and the Blue Shield national committees. It facilitates communication between all levels of the Blue Shield Network in a systematic way.
