Conference: Flood & Coast Conference 2016. Risk, Resilience and Response in a Changing Climate
23-25 February 2016, Telford International Centre, UK
Organiser: UK Environment Agency
Flood & Coast 2016 is a unique event which will shape the future of risk, resilience and response between the Environment Agency, local authorities, infrastructure, businesses and engineering bodies – roads, transport, utilities’ properties – and communities.
It will address our changing climate and draw on expertise and experience from different geographies – not only within the UK but also the EU and the rest of the world.
It will build on the series of flood and coastal risk management (FCRM) events led by Defra and the Environment Agency that took place in Telford until 2010.
This event will bring together the specialists in the supply chain that deliver technology and solutions to control the increasing risk of flood and rising sea levels to spread best practice, new ways of working and to deliver excellence in FCRM.
Full details of the conference, and all topics, are available on their website, here.
